Coordinates all projects and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems. Identifies and analyzes project requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables with special attention to customer requirements. Will include monitoring engineering schedules, material acquisition, outside purchases, and installations.
Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately. Prepare and maintain a budget for the project. Requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-5 years' experience. Any experience in the field or in a related area of materials handling or construction management, are a plus.
Will need to become familiar with all facets of material handling and warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a department manager.
Project Manager will handle projects up to $10,000,000. Communication skills are essential. Some travel will be as required as deemed necessary to maintain project schedule. Customer retention skills are of primary importance. Candidate should possess a sociable demeanor in order to be able to deal with other trades on a project site.
